Führung für den Plunger am Kaffeeventil. Das Kaffeeventil hat nicht nur die Funktion, das heiße Wasser aus dem Boiler in den Brüher zu lassen, sondern dient auch als Sicherheitsventil beim Überschreiten des Boilerdrucks (überschüssiger Druck wird in Richtung Brüher abgegeben). Ferner wird nach dem Brühvorgang das überschüssige Wasser aus dem Brüher nach oben in einen Schlauch, der in die Tropfschale mündet, abgelassen. Nach langem Betrieb des Automaten kann durch den zurückfließenden, überschüssigen Kaffee "verkleben" oder "verstopfen".
